Dr. Roger Menta

Dr. Roger Menta blends science, sweat, and a healthy dose of obsession with human performance. A former baseball and soccer athlete turned Ironman triathlete, his path to becoming a sport specialist chiropractor has been forged through thousands of hours of training, countless finish lines, and one unforgettable trip to the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

That 8-year journey taught him the power of resilience, recovery, and smarter training—and now, he helps others chase their own finish lines, whether that’s on a race course or just living pain-free. From weekend warriors to elite athletes, Roger’s treatment style is as strategic as it is supportive, using tools like soft tissue therapy, dry needling, joint manipulation, and mobility training to get people moving better and feeling stronger.

A graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Clinic Honours) and a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Sport Sciences, Roger also holds a Kinesiology degree from the University of Calgary and is a certified acupuncture provider. He teaches for Functional Range Systems (FRS) and leads KINSTRETCH and Internal Strength classes for anyone ready to build better, more bulletproof movement.

When he’s not treating patients or coaching athletes, you’ll find him diving deep into the latest research, experimenting on himself in training, or chasing the next big goal—always moving, always learning.

Coach Tyson Linford

Hey, I’m Tyson Linford — Director of Strength & Conditioning at Solo Sport Systems in Calgary.

With over 8 years of coaching experience, I’ve worked with everyone from first-time gym-goers to seasoned endurance athletes. My mission? To help anyone who walks through our doors move better, get stronger, and live a more balanced life.

Whether you’re training for a race or just want to keep up with your kids, I believe in smart, science-backed training that fits your lifestyle — not the other way around.

Outside the gym, I’m gearing up for my first Half Ironman and love staying active through soccer, mountain biking, and backcountry adventures.

No matter your background or goals, there’s a place for you here.

Coach Morgan Boot

Originally from Alberta, Morgan recently returned home after completing her Kinesiology degree on Vancouver Island, where she also played college basketball. A lifelong multi-sport athlete, she has experience in hockey, ringette, basketball, volleyball, rowing, and track, and discovered her passion for strength training through her own athletic journey.

Morgan is a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer, the gold standard in Canada for personal training and has coached in sport performance, rehab, and general population settings. She’s passionate about helping athletes stay safer and perform better both on and off the field, and finds deep satisfaction in helping clients return to the routines that matter most after injury, whether that’s sport, work, or just getting up and down the stairs pain-free.

She brings a strong foundation in anatomy, mobility, and strength training to every session, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta, with long-term goals to support para-athletes through both rehab and performance.

Outside the gym, you can catch her skiing, doing water sports, golfing, and hanging with her dogs!

Coach Brandon Hunt

My name is Brando for short; I have been a trainer/coach for 10 years. I have had the pleasure of working with various people from all ranges and capabilities. Including athletes in multiple sports, youth, experienced gym go-ers , to elderly clients over the age of 70+. Whether you are just starting or looking for a fresh restart, I believe in providing a balance of what the client needs and wants. If you are looking to make a 100kg Clean and Jerk or just looking to Squat with no pain look no further. Let’s get strong!

Remaining personable and passionate behind the help I can provide has been my primary focus since the first day I started. There is a lot of information and advice that can be overwhelming to some regardless of goals or experience in the gym. Simplifying the process, being specific, creating structure, and consistency to work towards your goals for the long run. These are key components to keep you engaged and learning so that heavy set of exercise doesn’t feel scary if I am not around and you can take what you learn and apply it long term. Guidance is necessary in many walks of life. Let me help you to get started!

Fun Facts:

I play Volleyball and Soccer currently, but I watch the NBA regularly (Heavy sports guy) I have competed in 2 Powerlifting Competitions, but I genuinely dislike Bench Press... love hate relationship, I guess.

I have practiced and trained myself and clients in Olympic Weightlifting. As a tall guy standing at 198cm or 6 foot 5 I can comfortably say the floor sometimes feels like a long way down. NO EXCUSES.

I am a Gamer! Always have been. Quite the nerd, love my FPS or First-Person Shooter Games. Generally, whether it’s gaming or Star Wars or Marvel I am most likely into it. (Thanks Dad) Who's to say you can’t be a strong, mobile, and healthy gamer huh?
